Steve Traylor | Bass Trombone Soloist

Steve Traylor | Bass Trombone Soloist

Melt into the velvet chocolate sound as Steve Traylor performs contemporary & romantic works on the bass trombone. Steve entertains and educates at concerts and clinics of arts council events, universities, and public schools. As a bonus, Steve Traylor’s extensive background in jazz means he is not your average classical musician. Having performed a large repertoire in jazz, Steve is equally ready to perform and inspire on bass trombone, tuba, or tenor trombone in a jazz or commercial setting. When possible, Steve benefits from the energy of his piano accompanist and friend, Tom Giomi. Giomi, of Paiute native American heritage, and Traylor are in sync as they unleash the power of the music.
